Life Experience Credit (LEC)

Recognizing Learning Beyond the Classroom

Experience

At Jesus Seminary, we acknowledge that ministry is often learned not only in classrooms, but also in churches, mission fields, communities, and leadership environments. Our Life Experience Credit (LEC) policy provides an opportunity for qualified applicants to receive academic credit for prior verifiable learning gained through significant ministry or professional experience. Life Experience Credit is awarded for demonstrated knowledge, competence, and learning outcomes — not simply for years of service or titles held.
