A Letter from the President

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
One of the greatest privileges in this world is to have received a calling from our Lord. Not everyone can be a pastor or priest – only those who are called can serve in such a noble capacity. If you are reading this letter, it is obvious that you are feeling this wonderful call to the ordainedministry.
The Jesus Seminary is not your typical seminary. While we teach theology and the Bible, we also emphasize life skills that will make you a highly effective pastor and teacher of the Word.
We are committed to training seminarians of all denominations. As long As we can agree on the basics, we can join hands to expand the Kingdom of God.
We encourage our pastors to consider becoming bi-vocational, as the Apostle Paul did. We know that in many places, a pastor won’t be able to support themselves financially. In order to be effective pastors, you may need to have another skill. We can help you with that.
We emphasize Christian leadership. Our pastors learn “servant leadership”, which is what our Lord embodied. To be true Christian leaders, we must be servant leaders. The Jesus Seminary teaches Biblical leadership skills for you to be an effective leader.
Our courses include church finance as well as Bible and hermeneutics.
We believe pastors should have well-rounded skills in order to develop churches filled with disciples for Jesus Christ.
If this sounds like the type of seminary you would want to study with, please continue to peruse our website. You can write me for more information. We are happy to share as we consider our students to be more than students – instead, fellow workers in the Kingdom.
Tomorrow’s leaders need to be developed for ministry in the 21st century. The Jesus Seminary will do that for you – whether you are in the Certificate Program or all the way into the PhD. We together strive to make a difference for Jesus Christ.
Because He Lives!
